Ennichisai in Little Tokyo, 2013

A couple weeks ago, my friend and I visited an annual traditional Japanese summer festival. The two-days festival, have various booths providing Japanese foods and goods, traditional art and Japanese pop-culture performances creating a matsuri atmosphere in Melawai Blok M, Jakarta.

Although this is a summer festival, in contrary, the weather a little windy and drizzle.

I’m pretty giddy for food stalls. So here are a few of prettiest bites around the event.

Since almost all the stalls selling takoyaki and taiyaki, we decided to buy something different. After walking a couple around we found this cute chirashi sushi in a cup. And we also buy this beautiful inari sushi and okonomiyaki impulsively. Kampai!

We got mochi, the perfect way to end our meal.
